"We're not building a place to attend. We're cultivating a movement to belong to."

Our Story

Tide & Table was born on the shore—both literally and spiritually.

It began with a longing: to create something that didn’t quite exist. A space that blends the sacred and the simple. Where faith isn’t confined to pews, but flows through meals shared, ocean dives taken, and stories spoken in the open air.

In a time when many feel spiritually displaced, emotionally exhausted, or simply overlooked, Tide & Table is forming as a response—a sanctuary built on community, service, and the sacred act of being together.

This isn’t a finished vision. It’s a movement unfolding. And there’s room for you.

Our Mission

At Tide & Table, we gather to break bread, share stories, and find connection in coffee, adventure, and acts of service—experiencing God’s presence in the simple moments of community.

Our Vision

To cultivate a community and create sacred spaces where breaking bread connects us to one another, grounds us in faith, and inspires us to serve with compassion and joy.

Core Values

Connection & Community – We believe healing happens around shared tables and shared trails. We create spaces where people feel seen, known, and welcomed.

The Sacred Act of Breaking Bread – Meals are a spiritual act. Around the table, we remember our shared humanity and God’s presence.

Spiritual Curiosity – We hold space for curiosity and evolving faith, honoring questions, embracing mystery, and finding joy in the journey of discovering God in unexpected places.

Embodied Spirituality – We honor faith that moves through the body: breath, sweat, silence, and sea.

Compassionate Service – Every gathering holds space for justice—whether underwater debris cleanups, volunteering locally, or simply offering a listening ear.

Sacred Rhythms of Rest – We invite people—including faith leaders and caregivers—to step off the hamster wheel and into the grace of Sabbath.

Wild Wonder & Stewardship – Nature is a sacred partner. We dive, paddle, clean, hike, and explore with reverence and reconnect with awe and responsibility.

Holistic Wellness – We care for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—through yoga, reflection, and rest.

Inclusivity & Open-Hearted Welcome – This is a space for the unseen, the in-between, the doubters, the seekers.

Purpose-Driven Impact – We are committed to action, not performance—co-creating spaces of transformation and meaningful change.

What to Expect
-and What We're Not

"Boundaries make space for belonging. Here’s what you can count on—and what we intentionally leave behind."

1

We're Not a Traditional Church

We don’t hold Sunday services or require belief in a particular doctrine. You don’t have to be part of any denomination—or any religion at all—to find meaning here.

Instead, we offer spaces to explore faith through service, story, and shared experience.

If you’re looking for a formal church with sermons, liturgy, and sacraments, Tide & Table likely won’t meet that need.

2

We're Not a Social Club

While we love joy, we’re not here to entertain or impress. This isn’t a place to network or casually “drop in.”

Instead, this is a community that invites you to engage, participate, and grow.

If you’re looking for something surface-level or feel-good without deeper involvement, this may not be your space.

3

We're Not a Tourist Experience or Consumer Brand

We’re not a commercial café, a beachside yoga studio, or an eco-retreat.

We’re a movement rooted in mission—using coffee, movement, and adventure to build something much deeper.

If you’re here for a photo op, a one-time outing, or just a quick latte, you might miss what this is really about.

4

We're Not Theological Gatekeeping

We don’t host debates, enforce religious labels, or decide who’s “in” and who’s “out.”

We invite honest conversation, evolving faith, and the freedom to show up as you are.

If you need certainty over mystery or uniform belief over spiritual curiosity, this may not be the best fit.

“We’re not a finished project. We’re a table being set. A tide that’s rising. A place forming for those who’ve felt unseen, unheard, or unsure where they belong. If you’re hungry for something more—come. There’s room here.”
